Liz Lalor continues to write her place in history as one of the most successful lady riders in the point-to-point sphere of all time, in a career which saw her first get off the mark in points at Clonmel in February 2004. In total, Lalor who is often seen carrying the distincitive blue and red silks of her father Richard, colours which are synonymous with the Carrigeen prefix, such as the two-time Champion Mare Carrigeen Acebo, has won the ladies title nine-times, having first lifted the ladies title when sharing it with Jennifer Pugh in 2009. A 100th career winner came in the 2018/19 campaign following the birth of her first daughter Alex, whilst in her role as a trainer, Lalor saddled a first double on the track at Clonmel in 2007.
