The E78,000 Goffs Arkle Sale graduate New Grange makes a winning debut for handler and rider Rob James by taking the opening four-year-old maiden. He can be considered a somewhat fortunate winner having been headed before two out, he was down three or four lengths when he was left in a clear lead again before the last. The imposing son of Walk in the Park only had to pop the last for a 24 length victory from Track Commander who filled the runner up spot. The winner will most likely be offered for sale.
