TRACK GUIDE

Comea played host to a first point-to-point in February 2022, a belated introduction to the calendar which was delayed by 12 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic which had resulted in mass cancelations in the previous season.

Following on from the Scarteen Foxhounds? former long-standing course in Kilfeacle which had been their home between 2001 and 2020, Comea is just two miles from that venue but presents an easier test to its predecessor which had been considered one of the tougher tracks on the circuit.

Comea, in contrast, is just one mile in circumference with five fences in total on each lap. A right-handed course that is laid out in the one field without any gaps to be crossed, there is one fence located in the home straight with a slight pull to the line.
