John Burke comes from a family deeply rooted in racing, and whilst he rode his first winner between the flags aboard Tell Me See at Castletown-Geoghegan in November 2001, it was in his role as a trainer that he gained particularly noteriety. This is as he saddled Killahara Castle under his brother Martin to become the biggest price winner in Ireland at an SP of 200/1 at Thurles in December 2018.
