Aine Connolly made her racecourse debut in December 2024 when partnering Kaleo Ametsa for Josh Halley in a Punchestown bumper. She had her first ride between the flags aboard the Halley-owned and trained Charles The Bold at Lisronagh in February 2025, finishing a promising third. Connolly gained her breakthrough point-to-point success later that year at Turtulla in November 2025, steering Lucy Wang to victory for Halley on what was only her fifth ride in points.
