Niall O'Flynn provided Abbie with her first ride in point-to-points aboard Mr Hartigan at Dawstown in May 2021 and she has since ridden for Mick Winters and David Christie. Abbie rode her first winner on the track in a bumper for Mick in June 2022 on a horse called Dark Spark owned by her uncle Nelius O'Keeffe. Fast forward to February 2023 and Abbie recorded her first point-to-point winner when steering Rebel Pat to victory for Mick.
