MARK O'HARE, RIDER

It is a sharp three miles at Tyrella and it is a track where it suits to have a horse with experience, as things can happen quite fast around there. They tend to go a good gallop from the start and there is no let up from there. Having a horse that is a sharp jumper helps and it is definitely an advantage to race handily or make the running as it is quite difficult to come from far off the pace. They usually get better ground than you would expect for the time of the year, so it suits a good moving horse.
