Tom Feeney rode his first point-to-point winner on Gaeilgeoir at Dawstown on May 6th 2002 with his longevity ensuring few riders have been race-riding as long. Almost 16 years later to the date, Feeney reached his half-century milestone when steering John O'Callaghan's Tourard Ways to victory at Ballindenisk May 5th 2018, whilst his son Adam has also started riding in point-to-point's and the pair have ridden against each other in quite a novel occurence.
