Maxine O'Sullivan has been one of the leading lady riders on the point-to-point circuit for a number of years having ridden her first winner at Knockanard in February 2008 aboard The Merry Mason, trained and owned by her father Eugene, who has been her biggest supporter throughout her career. Crowned Ladies Champion for the first time in 2010, when sharing the title with Liz Lalor, Maxine won the title outright in 2014 on a career best 13 winners, with Champion Pointer The Hollinwell providing her with five of those winners on her way to the title, before adding to her title haul in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023. Undoubtedly, the 2020 Cheltenham Festival succcess of It Came To Pass in the Foxhunters for her father has been her biggest success to date.

Fifth Ladies Title for Maxine OSullivan

This years’ shortened point-to-point season saw reigning Ladies Champion Maxine O’Sullivan pick up her fifth Ladies Title.
