Jack Collins rode one winner on the pony racing circuit before taking out his qualified riders licence in 2023. His first track ride was aboard his Grandfather Pat Pyne's Ceis Charraigin, trained by Garrett Ahern in a Galway bumper in July 2023. He also made his points debut aboard that same horse in October 2024. In January 2025, it was Ceis Carraigin who provided Collins with his first win in the saddle at Carrigarostig.
