Robbie Clancy followed in the footsteps of his late mother Michelle Clancy (nee Holohan), the 1990 champion lady rider, when he made his debut appearance in point-to-points aboard the Factna Twomey-trained Useitorlooseit at Moig South in December 2020. A first success followed at Turtulla in November 2021 aboard Leading Babe, a horse that he also owned and trained.
