Luke Murphy is one of the rising stars of the weigh-tent, who rode his first winner aboard his parents Bloodstream at Boulta on New Year's Day 2017. Murphy's parents John and Miriam have the claim of having bred the globe-trotting Galway Hurdle victor Clondaw Warrior and regular consignors of young horses from their Corecannon House operation. The 2017/18 season saw Murphy record a first treble at Curraghmore in April 2018, whilst a year later he broke into the top-5 nationally with 21 winners.
