Bill Shanahan made his point-to-point debut at Glenbane in October 2010, a year prior to recording his first winner at Dromahane in November 2011 aboard the James Dullea-trained Rotorua. The son of Tom Shanahan, the Huntsman with the Premier Hunt who has also trained a number of Bill's winners, Shanahan matched his best season to date with two winners during the 2017/18 campaign.
