Saturday’s two point-to-point fixtures are set to go ahead after both courses passed precautionary inspections at 7.30am this morning.

Ballinaboola hosts a rescheduled fixture which was held over from last Sunday, and the second-last fence at the Wexford course will be omitted throughout the day.

That will result in ten fences being jumped in the opening four-year-old maiden over two and a half miles, with 12 fences to be negotiated in the remaining three-mile contests on the card, with the going now Heavy.

The ground at Kirkistown is Yielding to Soft, Heavy in places.

A further three fixtures are scheduled to take place on Sunday.
