Hunter cert deadlines for opening weekends

Following the recent publication of the 2025 autumn fixture list, the IHRB have announced the deadlines for hunter certificates that owners and handlers will need to be aware of in order to run their horses across the opening weekends of the new campaign.


Toomebridge and Castletown-Geoghegan are once again the season-opening fixtures on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th, respectively, and hunter certificates will need to be lodged with the IHRB by the close of business on Monday, September 15th, in order to be eligible to run at them.

The deadline for hunter certs to be able to run at either Portrush on Saturday, October 11th, or Loughrea on Sunday, October 12th, is Monday, September 22nd.
