PREVIEW | Ormond (F) at Ballingarry - Saturday

Race 1 - Goffs 4yo Mares Maiden

Stable companions SHIROCCOSMAGICGEM and Sheeka Supreme are responsible for the only previous placed form in this with preference going to the former who was sent off as the favourite for her debut at Punchestown last Saturday. Although beaten by her stable companion Chosen Hero then she ran a more than respectable race and could swiftly follow-up here.

Race 2 - Dungar Quality Oats 4yo Maiden - Auction

Just nine horses have been entered for this auction maiden that is restricted to horses that were bought for E25,000 or less at the store sales last year, and of the four horses with previous form, LITTLEFOOT would look the one to beat courtesy of his debut effort which saw him finish third at Stowlin earlier in the month. He may have been beaten 16 lengths on that occasion, but the experience will stand to him in what would look an easier assignment. Whilst of those represented with newcomers, both Colin Bowe and Matthew Flynn OConnor have their four-year-old horses in top form of late entitling their runners to a market check.

Race 3 - Fairymount Farm Adventures & Alan King Agri Sales 5yo Mares Maiden

FLYINGATFIFTY could be turned out quickly having run at Punchestown just last Saturday, but if continuing in the same progressive fashion which saw her take a big step forward in that run last weekend she would seem to set the standard. She was only beaten by a previously placed rival and is certainly going the right way. Littletwinklestar would have gone close had she not come down at the last on her debut at Stowlin and is sure to be in the mix here alongside Morning Star, Inchiquin Spirit and Talkingthetalk.

Race 4 - Clifton Farm 5yo Geldings Maiden

The homebred HAILNHARTY is a full-brother of the ill-fated former five-time point-to-point winner Mr Mantilla, and he really caught the eye on debut when finishing third to the proven Whataboutyeh at Dromahane earlier in the month. It would certainly not be a surprise to see him get his head in front here. Hills Of Glory could be the main danger if holding his form into what would already be his third run of the month as he was sent off a well-backed favourite in Bartlemy before falling at the last when in contention, whilst Lucky Zebo could get involved on his Lisronagh form.

Race 5 - Foremans Open

SOME MAN is in pole position to be crowned champion point-to-point horse for the season after picking up his sixth victory of the season at Ballindenisk last Sunday and he could wrap-up that title by adding another success to his tally in this. Visioman is an interesting rival having lowered the colours of A Rated at Punchestown last week, whilst First Preference made an immediate impact on his first outing in open company at Dromahane last month and is an progressive horse that should not be underestimated.

Race 6 - Fay Memorial Race & Liffey Mills Winner of OneGeld

IKS MAN may have met with defeat at the hands of Serious Operator in Dromahane earlier in the month, but the pair were in a class of their own on that occasion, pulling some 25 lengths clear of their rivals and he can regain winning ways here. The Galahad Kid won his maiden on that same Dromahane card and he has to be respected on his first step into winners company, whilst Good Source was not short of his supporters when taking a big step forward at Stradbally last Sunday and comes into this in good form.
