UNITED HUNT (F) at Ballindenisk on 01st Dec 2019

First Race: 12:00
Number of Entries: 99
Admission Adults: €10

Not only has Ballindenisk been the home to a point-to-point since 1926, typically staging two fixtures each year, one in the autumn and one in the spring, but it is also home to some of the country’s leading three-day events and has played host to other equestrian disciplines from Polo Cross to Show Jumping and Carriage Driving.

Over the years Ballindenisk has produced many top-class horses that have gone on to sell for large amounts of money in the UK sales. These include Conna Castle, Native Jack, Artic Copper and Awbeg Prince.

Dan Kissane from the United committee commented:

“We are well on schedule for the weekend, everything is up and running. The fences are up and the Turf Club inspection will take place on Friday morning.

“We have had a good bit of rain, but it has been dry yesterday and today, it’s meant to be dry again tomorrow, so hopefully the ground will dry out a small bit.

"We will have the usual food outlets and the local pony club will have their own stall, where they will be selling soup and sandwiches along with our own hospitality tent onsite and we have a good few on board to help us out.”
