Sunday's Laois Foxhounds point-to-point at Stradbally has been cancelled following a second additional inspection of the course on Saturday afternoon.
The initial IHRB inspection of the course on Friday afternoon had described the ground as Good to Firm, Firm in places, but with an additional inspection required 24 hours later, the ground was deemed to be unfit for racing, and therefore the final fixture within the Eastern region has been cancelled.
There will now only be two fixtures on Sunday at Loughrea where the ground is Good and at Ballindenisk where the ground is described as Firm, Yielding in places.
The track at Loughrea has been spiked and watering will continue, whilst at Ballindenisk the course has been aerated and will be watered.
