It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Charlie Moore, who was heavily involved with the Kilworth Point-to-Point for many years.
Charlie was also well known throughout the point-to-point community for providing fences at numerous fixtures over the years, making a valuable contribution to the sport.
A familiar and respected figure within point-to-pointing, Charlie was also the uncle of champion point-to-point rider Derek O’Connor.
Everyone at p2p.ie would like to extend their sincere sympathies to Charlie’s family, brothers Tom and John, his sisters-in-law Terry and Teresa Moore, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
