IHRB Point to Point Stewards Enquiry Fermanagh (H) Saturday 09 May 2026
Following the running of this race, the Acting Stewards received a complaint from Mr D. O’Connor, rider of Cool Companion, concerning the running rail on the final bend before the home straight in the 4yo Gelding Maiden – Division 1.
Having viewed a recording of the closing stages of the race and considered the evidence from Mr O’Connor, the Acting Stewards were of the opinion that the running rail appeared to be clipped by the front runner which caused the running rails to be dislodged and consequently they took no further action other than ordering the running rail to be repaired before the next race.
