Irish Pointers Headline Upcoming Tattersalls Online Sale

Following on from a record-breaking Tattersalls Cheltenham Festival Sale, Irish point-to-points are set to headline the Tattersalls Online March Sale which takes place on Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th March this week.

The session of point-to-pointers includes entries from Cormac Doyle’s Monbeg Stables who were responsible for the top lot Monster Truck at last week’s Festival Sale, James Doyle’s Baltimore Stables and Denis Murphy’s Ballyboy Stables. Stuart Crawford’s Newlands Farm Stables will offer two lots and Rob Tector’s Coolbawn Stables are also represented.

James Doyle consigns four-year-old Power Of Authority, by sire of the moment Poet’s Word, who was running a huge race on debut before coming to grief at the last when still in contention. Cormac Doyle’s Monbeg Stables will offer placed four-year-old Send Em Running who was second on debut at Lingstown last weekend behind Got To Be Real who subsequently sold for £160,000 at last week’s Cheltenham Festival Sale.Also featuring is Denis Murphy’s five-year-old Westerner gelding Noble Fleet who was second on debut at Tinahely beaten only ½ length at the line with 20 lengths back to the third horse. 

Four-year-old Orderanout, placed second to Palinca (who sold for £400,000 at the Festival Sale) at Lingstown is sure to attract a lot of attention as well, Robert Tector’s mare made a very encouraging start to her career that day and looks sure to make a big mark on the track proper going forward.
