Arctic Tack Stud’s Jet Away registered a double within an hour on Saturday to notch up his first and second winners as a sire from only three runners to date.
Jet Away’s first winner, Supreme Jet, took the first race at Oldtown and this was quickly followed by the four-year-old mare, Brandy Love, who scored a dominant eight-length victory at Cragmore against geldings.
The Patrick O’Farrell-trained Supreme Jet, led throughout to win the Goffs four-year-old geldings’ maiden by three and a half lengths at Oldtown.
The talented gelding led by up to ten lengths at one point and ultimately recorded a cosy victory, exhibiting a lot of natural ability in the five-runner contest.
“We were so confident for weeks leading up to Saturday’s win and we believed he would win wherever he would go," said handler Patrick O'Farrell.
"know there was only five runners, but they were all quality and I believe they will all win their point-to-point races in the near future.
"Supreme Jet has always been a natural. He really toyed with them today.
"I really like these Jet Away's, I think he is going to be an excellent stallion and I have a heard a good word about him from others,” said trainer Patrick O’Farrell.
Wexford handler Colin Bowe was equally positive about his charge, Brandy Love, who scored by eight lengths at Cragmore in the Tattersalls Ireland four-year-old maiden.
“I knew she was smart as she was showing us a lot at home, but that was impressive against the males," said the champion handler.
"She really powered clear late on. It's not too often we take on the geldings and carry it off, so she is a little bit special.”

Jet Away, whose progeny has proved popular in the sales ring, is a Group 1-placed son of successful sire Cape Cross, and hails from one of Juddmonte Farms best families being out of a half-sister to the champion broodmare Hasili.
He is closely related to leading sires Dansili, Cacique, Champs Elysees and Leroidesanimaux, and stands at Arctic Tack Stud in Wexford for a fee of €3,000.
