Open Lightweight Race Novice Riders
For Certified Hunters aged 4 years old and upwards, the property of subscribers to any Hunt in Ireland.
4-Y-O Maidens excluded. No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. For Novice Riders who, at midnight on the Monday prior to the closing of entries, have not ridden more than fifteen winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. Riders who have not ridden more than 5 winners are entitled to a 5lb allowance.

WONDERWALL could return to the scene of his first open success from October 2024, having achieved plenty in the interim, including big-race successes at both the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals in the last year and a half. The latest of them was a hard-fought victory in the Champion Hunter Chase, which would certainly leave him as the one to beat. His stablemate, The Great Unknown and Hearts And Spades are contending for champion point-to-point horse honours, whilst Yewtree Hill and Galon De Vauzelle are others with place claims.
