Mark Walsh

Mark Walsh, from Doneraile, Co. Cork, is part of a well-established racing family, being the son of handler Brendan Walsh and grandson of the now-retired trainer John Joe Walsh. He made his racecourse debut aboard Dlightofdsun at Clonmel in November 2025 for his father, before having his first ride between the flags at Kildorrery in February 2026 aboard Annie Questions. Walsh recorded his first winner at Dawstown in May when partnering Annie Questions to success, reaching the milestone on just his fifth point-to-point ride.
