Billy Aherne

Billy Aherne opened his point-to-point account on his first ride between the flags when winning aboard Vodka Splash, trained by his father Garry and owned by long-time supporter and friend of the Aherne's Charlie Moore. He had previously gained valuable track experience aboard the Eamonn Gallagher-trained Sing My Story, riding her six times in bumpers in his father’s colours during 2025, recording a second and two fourth-placed efforts.
