Cillian McConnell

The son of dual-purpose trainer John McConnell, Cillian recorded his first success as a flat apprentice at The Curragh aboard Sagittarius Rising in November 2020. The Meath native combined race-riding on the flat with studying Actuarial Mathematics at college, before switching to the QR ranks. The Ger Fox-handed Cash Back was a first outing in the pointing fields for McConnell when running in an open at Tattersalls in October 2024. C
