Ronan McParland had his first point-to-point ride aboard the Sean Doyle-trained Hurricane Le Dun at Tinahely in October 2023. He made his racecourse debut at Clonmel in September 2024 when partnering the Ted Walsh-trained Indulging in a QR maiden. McParland’s breakthrough came in late November 2025, guiding the Colin Bowe-trained Roi Du Roume to victory at Borris House on what was his first ride of the season following a wrist injury.
