Troy Walsh made his debut on the point-to-point circuit at Courtown in April 2018 aboard Croan with an initial victory coming at Moira in October 2021 aboard the Aidan Fitzgerald-trained Garm Colombe. It was also the Carlow handler that supplied Troy with his initial double, which was recorded at Farmacaffley in February 2024, whilst he has also ridden four-year-old maiden winners for Fitzgerald and Ellmarie Holden.
