After getting off the mark courtesy of the Sam Curling-trained Abigail Lynch at Rathcannon in October 2016, Mahon enjoyed his best season during the 2018/19 campaign with six winners, including success aboard the year's joint-champion point-to-point horse Longhouse Music.
