Impressive Pointing Success for Doncaster Spring Store Sale

Graduates of the Doncaster Spring Store Sale, which have claimed three Grade 1 races this year, have also had a highly successful 2026 on the PTP tracks, headlined by an impressive 12 debut PTP winners.

The Goffs Punchestown Sale saw three debut Irish 4YO PTP winners, all offered at the Doncaster Spring Store Sale, headlining at the event:

Night League (pictured): 4YO debut winner for Jonathan Fogarty at Ballysteen. Offered as a store by Liss House and sold to JP McManus at Punchestown for €320,000.

Monjeu De Chaillac: 4YO debut winner for Stuart Crawford at Castletown-Geoghegan. A £41,000 store from Clifton Farm which sold to Olly & Aiden Murphy at Punchestown for €220,000.

Mikel Ange Spigao: 4YO debut winner for Patrick Turley at Tullaherin. A £35,000 store from Clifton Farm which sold to JP McGrath & Alex Hales at Punchestown for €125,000.

Other debut PTP winners this season from the Doncaster Spring Store Sale include:

Lead Officer: 4YO debut winner for Jonathan Fogarty at Curraghmore. A £20,000 store from Consign Ltd. which sold at the Goffs Aintree Sale to Tom Malone & Jamie Snowden for £135,000.

Miss Master: 4YO debut winner for Stuart Crawford at Oldcastle. A £6,000 store from Mill House Stud which sold at the Goffs Aintree Sale to Richard Johnson for £48,000.

Metal D'Ainay: 4YO debut PTP winner for Derek O’Connor at Kirkistown. A £50,000 store from Lakefield Farm which was purchased by Donald McCain & Derek O'Connor.

Island Jetaway: 4YO debut winner for Myles Osborne at Larkhill. A £20,000 store from Fernham Farm which is selling at the Spring HIT/PTP Sale as Lot 386.

The catalogue for the 2026 Doncaster Spring Store Sale is now online and will feature 211 lots including a 2YO session at the end of the sale. 

The classy line-up features stores by Affinisea, Beaumec de Houelle, Buck's Boum, Crystal Ocean, Doctor Dino, Golden Horn (10), Great Pretender, Harzand, Jack Hobbs (7), Jeu St Eloi, Jukebox Jury, Kapgarde, Maxios, Moises Has, Nathaniel (11), Nirvana du Berlais, No Risk At All, Order Of St George, Poet’s Word (7), Sea The Moon, Walk In The Park etc.

All horses sold are eligible for entry in the world’s richest bumper, the £100,000 Hundred Grand by Goffs.
