His milestone winner came aboard the record-breaking Winged Leader trained by David Christie.
The 12-year-old set a brisk gallop alongside Cadoudal Saint from the start, Lavery sent his mount on from the third last and kept on gamely to register a 21 length victory.
The Downpatrick native made his debut appearance between the flags in 2009 but had to wait until 2011 until he had his first winner.
It was Brian Hamilton that provided him with his initial success aboard Hey R Fella at Taylorstown in October 2011.
Lavery in recent times has developed a very successful relationship with former rider-turned handler Patrick Turley, with the pair successful with My Whirlwind who was sold for £400,000.
As well as partnering many top open horses such as Warne, Maple Mons and Mr Bolt to success, Lavery has also guided some expensive four-year-old’s to victory including Lecale’s Article at Largy and Loughanmore winners Lucky Pass and Bach de Clermont.
His biggest supporters to date have been Patrick Turley, Brian Hamilton, Caroline McCaldin, Ian Donoghue and Mark O’Hare.
