31 entries will be offered at Thursday’s Goffs Aintree Sale at the Randox Grand National Festival following weekend point-to-point meetings which saw an additional 13 top-class horses accepted after last week’s initial entries.

Now in its eighth year, the Goffs Aintree Sale is well established as a world-class source of Grade 1 winners – having produced six since its inception in 2016, with four of those Grade 1 winners having won at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals.

The sale’s most recent star is the highly promising chaser and dual Grade 1 winner CROKE PARK (pictured above). Trained by Gordon Elliott for Gigginstown House Stud, the son of Walk In The Park has won three of his chase starts with victories in the Gr.1 Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse and the Gr.1 Long Distance Novice Chase at Leopardstown.

Thursday’s sale will be held in the winners’ enclosure after racing and inspections will be open from Wednesday 2 April from 1pm. To view entries, click here
