Career Milestone for Dunne

It was a memorable day for Wexford rider Harley Dunne who registered his 100th point-to-point winner when guiding the Denis Murphy trained Working Away to victory in the four-year-old mares maiden at Tattersalls.

Dunne who was crowned Champion Novice Rider in 2013 also had a spell within the professional ranks.

Dunne has struck up a successful link with a number of Wexford handlers which has seen him guide a number of expensive four-year-old winners to success, such as Redhotfillypeppers, Bitingthebullet, Know The Score and The Big Getaway.

Sean Doyle’s Crosshue Boy provided him with the his biggest track success to date when they won a very valuable Handicap Chase on the Scottish National card at Ayr in 2018.

His biggest supporters over the years include Liam Kenny, Donnchadh Doyle, and most recently Denis Murphy.

The Wexford native, took out his handlers licence two years ago and has already notched up 10 winners to date.
