Hunter Certificate deadline upcoming for bumper fixtures

The deadline to register hunter certificates for those horses that handlers may wish to run at the upcoming fixtures which consist exclusively of bumpers for point-to-point horses is upcoming.

The first of three fixtures will take place at Punchestown and focuses solely on races for four and five-year-old horses, with further fixtures at Wexford on Saturday March 20th, and Tipperary on Wednesday March 24th.

Hunters Certificates must be lodged at the Offices of the INHSC no later than 5pm on Thursday March 11th in order to be eligible for those Wexford and Tipperary race meetings

Point to Point Handlers that do not currently hold a Licence to Train but have completed and returned the relevant documentation to the IHRB Office following the Level of Demand Survey which was circulated on Friday 26th February may enter and run horse(s) at this meeting.

It is crucial that handlers follow the steps outlined in that communication as soon as possible, as any delay may mean they will be unable to run their horses.

Handlers are also reminded that horses must be registered as returned in training with Horse Racing Ireland in order to be entered.
