Important hunter certificate deadline for handlers

The countdown has begun to the first of what subject to demand will be three fixtures of bumpers for horses eligible to run in point-to-points, with an important deadline looming.
 
Punchestown will host the first of these fixtures on Monday March 15th and whilst entries will not close until Wednesday March 10th, there is just a handful of days remaining to lodge hunter certificates in order to be eligible to run at this fixture.
 
All remaining hunter certificates must be lodged at the offices of the IHRB by this coming Friday, March 5th, whilst all point-to-point handlers who do not hold a track licence will also have received important email communication on Monday of the steps they must follow to run their horses at these fixtures.
 
The dates of these fixtures are:
 
Monday March 15           Punchestown (inside track)          
Saturday March 20          Wexford       
Wednesday March 24      Tipperary
