Field of 11 declared for rescheduled Limerick Hunter Chase

Following the cancellation of Sunday's Limerick fixture, a field of 11 will take to the track for the re-arranged Earl of Harrington Memorial Maiden Hunter Chase, which will now be run on Wednesday, but it is still the Cheltenham Foxhunters fourth Staker Wallace who tops the list.

Enda Bolger’s charge, who has an open success to his name from Nenagh last February, has chased home Aloneamongmillions and Dom Dolo on successive starts at Dromahane and Mainstown this term and he will have the assistance of the champion rider Barry O’Neill for the first time.

The lightly raced nine-year-old will face ten rivals, chief of whom could be the rapidly improving Fanamix, who goes in search of the hat-trick for Jamie Codd and Denis Murphy.

The five-year-old followed up his success in the unplaced maiden at Tattersalls in October when doubling up at Knockmullen House last month and he will be joined by another last time out winner in Super Citizen.

He is one of two runners in the race for Eugene O’Sullivan, and the Ballindenisk open victor will be sporting the same Cheltenham winning colours of It Came To Pass’ owner Alurie O’Sullivan, with the handler’s daughter Maxine also aboard to complete the combination that were successful in the Foxhunters back in March.

Michael’s Pick is the other last time out winner in the field, with the runners completed by the Brian Mortell pairing of Three Loud Knocks and Daicheadacuig, last year’s eighth Call It Time, Turlough O'Connor's Cloudy Tuesday, The Lying King and Martalink and Prefad, the latter pair who represent last year’s winning trainer Caroline McCaldin.

Full declarations can be viewed here.
