The Cork-Waterford point-to-point circuit gets underway at Dromahane on Sunday, with the opening fixture in the region having attracted a very health entry of 139.
Organised by the Muskerry Foxhounds, the fixture is a substitute meeting for the committee who lost their traditional May Bank Holiday meeting when the spring season was brought to a premature end by the Covid-19 pandemic, however their decision to stage this autumn point-to-point has certainly been rewarded.
Sunday’s behind closed doors fixture is one of three fixtures that the Mallow course will host in the pre-Christmas period with the Duhallow Foxhounds in charge of the October 25 fixture, and the Duhallow Foxhounds Kanturk organizing their fixture November 8.

Those essential attendees that are permitted to attend on Sunday must complete the mandatory health screening on the IHRB website between 9am on Thursday and 8pm on Friday evening, and bring the QR code ticket that they will be sent via email for scanning at the entrance gate.
