Rose Of Arcadia joins expanding Cheveley Park team

Since expanding their interest in the national hunt sphere, Cheveley Park Stud have enjoyed notable good fortunes with their purchases from the point-to-point fields, and they have added to their team, with the announcement that they bought last month’s Tattersalls Farm winner Rose Of Arcadia.

Envoi Allen is undoubtedly the flag bearer for their national hunt team, and has earned the title of the most exciting jumps horse in training in Ireland, by continuing to expand his unbeaten record which was stretched to seven straight rules success since his pointing victory at Ballinaboola, when he won the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle at the beginning of the month.

It has since been revealed that David and Patricia Thompson are now the owners of Rose Of Arcadia, who won her four-year-old mares’ maiden at the first time of asking at Tattersalls Farm for Danny Fitzsimmons.

Following her two-length defeat of the Donnchadh Doyle-trained Shirocco’s Dream, the daughter of Arcadio proved to be in big demand when she came under the hammer at the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale, eventually fetching a sum of £170,000.

On the night it was Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock and Colin Tizzard that jointly signed for the mare, and it has now come to light that Tizzard is to join the roster of trainers for the Chevelely Park team with this mare under his care.

She joins Beyondthestorm as their second jumps horse in training in Britain.
