The in-form Arctic Skipper will be making his hunter chase debut if lining up, the ten-year-old ended last season on a good note when winning his final race at Monksgrange and has continued that good form when winning his only two starts between-the-flags this season, beating graded winner Black Hercules on his most recent win.

Irish Gold Cup winner Edwulf looks set to line up in the race and the son of Kayf Tara made his point-to-pointing debut at Loughrea back in October when scoring by an impressive six lengths on the day under Aine O’Connor, who picked up the ride due to Derek O’Connor being out injured at the time.

It Came To Pass could make it two in a row having recorded an impressive success in the opening hunter chase of the season at Cork in November with Maxine O’Sullivan aboard on the day for her father Eugene O’Sullivan.
