Weekend Preview | Tattersalls 08th December

Race 1 - Devenish Nutrition 4yo Mares Maiden

OVERNIGHT SUCCESS will be looking to uphold family honours after her half-brother Samcro came to grief across the road at Fairyhouse in the Drinmore Novice Chase last Sunday, as she looks to step up from her third at Lisronagh on her seasonal debut.

Whos My Girl was supported ahead of her debut in that same race and was sent off as one of the favourites before only getting to the first, ensuring a big run may well be expected of her here, whilst Found On ran respectably at Rathcannon in the spring and is another that could enter the equation.

Race 2 - My Dream Boat 4yo Geldings Maiden

SUNSET WEST
put up a big performance on his debut at Boulta, when in a strongly run race, he stuck to his task gamely to only go down by a length to a more experienced rival. With the pair having pulled a distance clear of their other rivals, he sets the standard.

Here We Have It left a number of non-completions behind him when he was narrowly denied at Mainstown last Sunday, having jumped the last in front. A repeat of that effort would see him hold claims, whilst Cootehill finished third at Turtulla on debut and Do The Floss went close in a bunched finish at Knockmullen House. They are others for the shortlist.

Race 3 - Colorman 5yo Mares Maiden

JACKIE DANIELS
looked assured of success up much of the run-in on her debut at Lingstown, before getting collared in the dying strides by a more experienced horse. She should be hard to beat here if stepping forward from that initial outing.

Katoune Tara was running a big race at Castletown-Geoghegan on her debut in the spring and followed it up by finishing fourth at Stowlin, whilst Jerminnie Green and Maybe Its Time are others that cannot be discounted.

Race 4 - Declan Gannon Building Ltd 5yo Geldings Maiden

WHAT ABOUT TIME has been knocking on the door this season, having finished in the money on each of his three outings this term, and following a career best at Lingstown last time, he could get his head in front here.

Big Leg Up ran one of his best races in an incident-packed race at Kirkistown, which also saw the potentially re-opposing Tardree come down on the flat after a mile. He is another with placed form from this season, as too are other likely contenders, One More Life and Soviet Style.

Race 5 - Tattersalls Ireland February NH Sale Winner Of One

CROSSING LINES
ran in a very hot looking winner-of-one at Boulta last month and would look the one to beat as a result. Stable companion French Light was a four-year-old maiden winner on the same card and receives the age allowance, as does Nelsons Rock, who tasted his first success at Tinahely in a race which produced a number of placed finishers last weekend.

Muckamore overcame a long absence to win easily at Mainstown last Sunday, whilst Double Smart is a notable mare in the line-up that cannot be discounted.

Race 6 - Pillo Hotel 6yo Maiden (Nov Rdrs)

Considering how disappointing the 111-rated hurdler, On Call, was on his return to the point-to-point fields at Lingstown a fortnight ago, preference goes to DANJAMAN who hit the crossbar at Kirkistown having tried to make much of the running.

Call It Time is another who had to settle for the runners-up spot recently, whilst RBriggities Hill, Rathbawn Rose and Mr Cosmos are others that could get involved.
