Having won a four-year-old mares’ maiden in December, Minella Melody maintained her unbeaten record when taking the Best Of Luck Ballyhale Shamrocks Point-To-Point Flat Race at Gowran Park on Saturday.
In fact this is the second bumper winner to come out of that maiden, highlighting the strength and depth of in these contests.
The winning five-year-old was settled in mid division for much of the race before cruising through to pick up the advantage turning-in.
Related to Mares' Hurdle winner Glens Melody, Minella Melody is very impressive in the finale for Patrick Mullins and @HenrydeBromhead at @GowranPark1
