Pa King became the latest rider to join the exclusive 200-winner club in point-to-pointing when he recorded a personal milestone-winning victory at Loughrea on Sunday.

The Tipperary native brought up his milestone winner when teaming up with the Robert Moloney-trained trained Miss Chipley to land the Jim Derwin Equestrian five-year-old and upwards mares’ maiden at the Galway Blazers fixture.

Kings 200th point-to-point winner comes just over six years, since recording his 100th points winner aboard the Willie Murphy trained Go To Court.

A very first success between the flags was recorded aboard John Halley's Templars at Butlerstown in 2006.
King has had a very successful career to date, having been crowned champion under-21 rider in 2008, and he has since won three regional titles, one Southern and two Western.

2023 was also another memorable year as he recorded his first Cheltenham Festival winner aboard the Sam Curling trained Angels Dawn when winning the Kim Muir.

Sam Curling has been his biggest supporter to date with the pair combining to register 38 winners, his other biggest supporters include his Harry Kelly (25 winners), uncle Pat Doyle (22 winners), Willie Murphy (19 winners) and John Halley (18 winners).

Among King’s 200 winners to date, he has partnered some well-known names at the early part of their career, including the likes of Nick Rockett, Parsons Pistol, Pandorama, Any Currency, Tina Kelly Lad, Alfa Beat and Draycott Place.
