A 73-strong fixture list for the spring 2025 season has been unveiled, and it will feature two new courses.

The Longford hunt make a welcome return to the point-to-point sphere, and they have a new course at Daramona House, near Streete in Co. Westmeath. It will be unveiled on Sunday March 16th.

That will be followed just over a month later by the first fixture at Tullaherin. Located to the east of Bennetsbridge, the Co. Kilkenny venue will be the new home of the spring fixture for the Kilkenny Foxhounds on Sunday, April 27th.

The spring term will commence at Dromahane on Sunday, December 30th, and it will be followed by nine fixtures in the month of January.

The new four-year-old maiden season kicks off at the beginning of February, with Ballinaboola and Bellharbour, once again hosting the first two races in that age category on Sunday February 2nd.

March remains the busiest month with a total of 20 fixtures taking place, including the return of the GAIN Mares Final at Ballynoe on Sunday March 23rd, having been lost to the inclement weather in 2024.

A further 16 fixtures will take place in April, including just one spring fixture for the Laois Foxhounds at Stradbally, that will be on Sunday, April 16th, whilst Easter weekend falls on Saturday April 19th to Monday April 21st, and Loughanmore, Curraghmore and Quakerstown will host point-to-point fixtures across the bank holiday weekend.

A total of 13 fixtures in the month of May will bring the season to a close, with a double-header on the final day of the season, at Ballingarry and Inchydoney, on Sunday May 25th.
