Caughtinyourtrance tops Goffs October Sale

Tuesday’s Goffs October Sale at Doncaster saw a session of 109 horses-in-training and yearlings offered which was topped by the Irish pointer Caughtinyourtrance which sold for £40,000.

Entered as a supplementary entry, the Matthew Flynn O'Connor trained Caughtinyourtrance (Lot 84G) won his debut point-to-point at Toomebridge by four-lengths and was sold to Mills Racing for £40,000.

Other lots to feature were Hands Off (Lot 60), a twice-placed son of Getaway from Seven Barrows, which sold to Valueracingclub.co.uk for £36,000 and Lot 90, a Walk In The Park filly out of the Listed winner Shanon du Berlais, who was purchased by Edward James from consignor Molland Ridge Stud for £36,000.

Selling resumes at Doncaster next month with the inaugural British NH Breeders Showcase which will offer a select line-up of 100 NH foals. View the catalogue here.
