Stand Up And Fight claims Down Royal Hunters Chase

 

Stand Up And Fight justified his short price when landing the Toal Bookmakers Hunter Chase at Down Royal in the hands of Derek O’Connor. 

The six-year-old made most of the running and had to work hard from the back of the last to deny the Jim Dreaper trained Sizing Coal and Mark O'Hare.

 

The Enda Bolger trained gelding had impressed previously when winning at Dromahane last month and looks likely to follow in the footsteps of his stablemates, On The Fringe and Gilgamboa. 

The Gordon Elliott trained Kruzhlinin finished a close third, the first three home had pulled a distance clear of the remainder of the field.
