Leading Breeder Patrick Pats Moore has passed away

(Pictured Left Optimus Prime)

We at p2p.ie were very sorry to learn of the passing of Patrick ‘Pats’ Moore.

Pats Moore was familiar to many on the point-to-point circuit as it was on his land that the Avondhu Foxhounds run their point-to-point at Knockanard.

Knockanard has produced some top class horses over the years some of which include; Joacci, Missed That and Travino.

Pats Moore also won the Weatherbys Leading Breeders Award in 2005 and currently holds the record of breeding six individual horses to win in a point-to-point season.

The Knockanard landowner has bred many winners over the years some of which include; Valley Rover, Anshampshire, Shanshampshire, Euro Gypsy, Optimus Prime and She’s Chancy.

We offer our deepest condolences to the Moore Family at this difficult time.
