November Fixture Changes

A number of updates have been made to the Autumn fixture list covering three meeting which were scheduled to run during the month of November.

The Kilkenny Foxhounds fixture which was due to run at Grennan in Thomastown on Sunday 5th November has had to be cancelled due to ground conditions. That ensures that the Co. Roscommon Hunt fixture at Rockfield is now the only fixture set to take place over the weekend of November 4th and 5th.

Two fixtures which do go ahead but are set to now take place at new courses are those organised by the Golden Vale Foxhounds and Suirvale Harriers.

The Golden Vales are set to leave their course at Glenbane, a track which they have run an autumn point-to-point at for nine consecutive years from 2008. Their new course, Turtulla, is located in Thurles, Co. Tipperary with their fixture taking place on Sunday 19th November.

The Suirvales meanwhile were already due to move to a new course for their autumn fixture on Sunday 26th November. However, with the new proposed course at Cowpark unable to stage the point-to-point fixture, they have found another new course, Knockinroe, which is located in Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Further details on both new courses will be available on P2P.ie in the coming weeks.
