Having finished fourth last time out at Tattersalls in what was a quality open, she bounced back to winning ways with a pillar to post in what was a notable drop down in grade. The winner duly had all of her rivals under pressure from before three and she quickened again on the run to two out quickly putting daylight between herself and the nearest pursuer. Having won on all type of ground conditions so far this season she displayed just how versatile a sort she is and will no doubt be a strong force to be reckoned with next season. [horse_comment] => was bidding for a fourth win of the campaign and can be considered a very unlucky loser. Sent straight to the front by Mikey Sweeney, she travelled best and held a six-length advantage on the run to the last. However, a bad blunder there halted her momentum and she ultimately couldn’t hold off the fast finishing Millie Supreme, going down by half-a-length. A model of consistency, she should gain compensation before the season is out.

[horse_comment] => produced a gutsy performance to lead from pillar to post under a confident Mikey Sweeney. The impressive Ballinaboola winner had been quickly turned out when not giving her true running at Kirkistown six days later, but she was back to form here. Travelling strongly throughout, she was forced to dig deep when headed at that second last but rallied well to her credit to fend off all challengers, crucially getting away from the last fence the quicker. Versatile in terms of ground conditions, she has now won twice on Yielding and that should ensure she is effective through to the end of the season when she should be able to add to her tally.

[horse_comment] => was bidding to back up a bold effort at Ballinaboola just six days earlier when she had defeated geldings including the in-form De Nordener. She set a strong gallop around the inside from the drop of the flag and was able to maintain this until the back of the second-last from where she stopped quickly. The testing ground, in contrast to what she had encountered in Ballinaboola, along with the quick turnaround, was likely responsible for the below-par effort here. If freshened up it would be no surprise to see her gaining another winners success, particularly against her own sex in the coming weeks .

[horse_comment] => was the youngest runner in the line-up and the most inexperienced to boot. A winner at Toomebridge in October, the well-bred Mount Nelson bay went unsold at Tattersalls the following month. Third on her return to action at Turtulla last month, she really put it up to her rivals from the get-go in this six-runner affair. Given a breather after four out, she went on again before the next and appeared to enjoy herself out in front. If the same tactics are deployed going forward, she will be a force to be reckoned with for the remainder of the season.

[horse_comment] => was one of two mares in the field and as she was having just her third start here she was one of the more unexposed runners in the field. The daughter of Mount Nelson had shown a good level of form in maiden company previously when third to the impressive Qualimita last April and when obliging by a narrow margin from Kiltealy Park in Toomebridge in October. Mikey Sweeney always had his mount behind Wise Move here but the bay five-year-old, although finding generously herself in the straight, couldn't find that extra gear when needed late-on. This was a however a most meritorious effort from a young, inexperienced mare on her initial effort at winners level and one can easily envisage her getting off the mark at winners level against her own sex without too much difficulty.

[horse_comment] => had the benefit of a previous run when finishing third, albeit beaten in excess of 30 lengths, to the highly-regarded Qualimita at Fairyhouse last April. The white-faced daughter of Mount Nelson, a E16,000 aquisition as a foal that's a sister to four track winners including six-time scorer Marinero, moved second behind Kiltealy Park before four out. She seemed to be coming off second best after two out, but she rallied before the last and produced the faster jump to lead just after landing. She then bravely kept the rallying runner-up at bay to oblige by a short head with the pair returning some 22 lengths clear of the third-placed Hay Baby. Whilst making a couple of jumping errors here, she appears to be a filly that's on a clear upward trajectory and this tough staying sort should ultimately make her mark over distances in the region of two miles six furlongs on the track.
