For Novice Riders who, at the start of the day, have not ridden more than ten winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases.

SEND FOR PADDY has won around this course and been fit early in the season before so he could well be the answer in what looks a competitive Open. Dom Fontenail may need better ground and Lord Multifix tends to perform best with a run under his belt so the biggest danger could be Nipper John who comes here fit from a run in August.
