TRACK GUIDE
Peppards Castle is a new addition to the point-to-point calendar, with the inaugural fixture at the Wexford venue taking place in October 2024.
BARRY O'NEILL
Peppards Castle is a staying track with quite a stiff uphill finish.
It suits a horse that jumps well and stays well, as you need to be in contention before the third last.
You want to get into a good rhythm and keep your position, especially on the final circuit.
There is still a fair bit of racing to do once you turn for home, so you need to have something left for the hill. That is where a horse that really stays will come into its own.
